This year we have received wholehearted admiration for our efforts to make this event great. We welcome constructive criticisms and suggestions about how we can improve.

Thank YOU for your hard work putting together the Disco America weekend this year. I enjoyed it very much. I always tell people that this is a very friendly event - a lot of good dancing and fun without getting too rushed or stressed (at least not too stressed for the participants!). Very good job.

I also have extend my very heart-felt complimants to everyone who performed in the show, especially those performing in the revue of Artie's choreography. Of course, I remember seeing the original renditions of those numbers. You don't know what you've got 'till it's gone..

Thank you for inviting us to Disco America 2009! We had a fabulous time again this year! We enjoy Disco America each year because both the pros and amateurs are very warm and friendly. As usual, things ran smoothly thanks to your wonderful staff.

The dinner show/tribute to Arte was touching and a great way to honor him. The social dancing in the foyer Saturday night was great fun because we could dance to hustle, west coast swing, and salsa music. We danced until 4 a.m.!

We are already making plans for Disco America 2010!

Dear Joyce and Donna
I hope by now you have recovered a bit from all your excellent hard work last weekend!

Thank you so very much for including me as a part of your staff. It was a pleasure to work for you and I hope you have received positive feedback from my workshops and competitions and dancing with your attendees.
There were several special things you do that give your event have such an upbeat, positive, fun reputation. First, the tone you set as organizers; the way you address staff and customers. The Pro Am Jack and Jill, Philly Freeze, and Bookends also go a long way to add fun to the weekend. Bobby M did a terrific job adding humor to those fun events as well. Your DJ Mark was excellent in combining classics with contemporary Hustle - WHAT a pleasure! That you have "dance hosts" circulating is brilliant. The tribute to Arte was the best I've seen of the three although ALL were wonderful and not in competition to each other, because his connection to you and your event was so strong, it was bound to be special - GREAT dinner show! Putting staff on the first floor to cut down on elevator issues.... Thank you so much for the hospitality suite - there are often times when there is only a minute to eat between judging and workshop.... and it was run so graciously by Connie and Eddie. All your staff was also all pleasant and helpful. And you ran a good schedule.

I am only sorry that my personal life has prevented me from participating more often. I did a lot of PR for your event and hope that although it did not show for this year in this economy, that it will next year. I am building students at a new studio and hope to have them psyched and ready to start attending Hustle events soon. Your event is the perfect first experience for new students because it is so much fun and well organized.

Thank you again and I hope you will consider me for your staff next year. Have a super summer and I look forward to seeing you again soon.

I just wanted to express to you both what a great event it was and the positive feedback I have been receiving. Everyone was pleased and felt it was a well run event. Most importantly, the event ran on time.
The registration desk was well manned, friendly and helpful. The schedules were posted and all the information that everyone needed was available. The ballroom was comfortable, not to cold and not to warm. The dinner show was a big hit and everyone raved about the Arte Phillips Tribute video.

The dinner show was very entertaining. I think everyone was happy to get in plenty of social dancing as well.

Positive feedback about Disco America!
Almost everything ran on time so that it was easy to plan where I wanted to be. Nice variety of workshops and all instructors were there as scheduled, also the instructors were very approachable during social dancing and were willing to dance with anyone who asked. Absolutely fabulous Arte Phillips video tribute on Saturday night. Those who weren't there missed something really special.

Everything was well organized.

Having enjoyed many IHDA events, I was delighted that competitions ran punctually at Discoamerica. DiscoAmerica was a most enjoyable weekend this year. The competitions and events ran as scheduled. DiscoAmerica staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our hosts Donna and Joyce made themselves very visible and available during the weekend. Friday night's midnight breakfast was delicious as well as the Sat night dinner. I usually don't do the dinners at these events, but this year DiscoAmerica had a wonderful dinner served, need I mention that chocolate dessert -- wow! The show and tribute to remember Arte Phillips was top notch. It was a nice touch to officially declare changing the name of the "Lifetime Achievement Award" in respect of Arte Phillips. Quality awards were in good quantity. Additionally lets not forget the "CASH" prizes in many more divisions.
