A Disco America Thank you

With Disco America 2008 now behind us, we can take a moment to catch our breaths and sit down to write a "Thank You" note to all those who supported our event making it, one of the best years ever. We have so many dedicated people to thank it's almost impossible to name them individually, but we are going to give it a try. A big "Thank You" to our front desk people, Michael Couris, Lana May, Madeline Lane, Naomi Brownstein, Sharon Roberts, Erica Neil, Maria Dugan, Carol Ann Baltz and Donna Carleone, without them your check- ins would not have been as smooth and easy as they were.

We would also like to thank the following people for their contributions to our event and for giving us the support we needed to make this event a success: Phil Dixon & Diane Weinberg who did a great job attending to the workshops. Art Bohus & Jack Cieka for managing the door. Dara Patrusky & Anita Giacone for all of their hard work and assistance. Connie Yesh & Eddie Gooden, who did a fabulous job keeping our staff nourished all weekend by organizing and managing the Hospitality Suite. Our staff of instructors including, Lori Brizzi, Joey Commentucci, Wendy and Wajih Dalal, Beth Darchi, Carlo DeJesus, Barry Durand, Brian Gallagher, Silvana Gallagher, George Garcia, Jose Gonzales, Loriann Greenhouse, Wingo Hom, Joe Kerner, Ettie Kurtz, Stephanie Risser, Jameson Kilburn, Billy Marti, Angela McCabe, Daniel McGee, Diane Nardone, Tony & Shawn Nguyen, Louie Orlando, Roberto Pagan, Arte Phillips, Kelvin Roche, Jaime Serna, Lynn Stevens and Tybaldt & Hazel Urlich, for teaching their best moves and sharing their talents with the students. Our DJ's Bobby Morales, Nino Torre, Steve Neeren, Mark Sakowski and DJ Mark for playing their best music and keeping our dance floors going til the wee hours of the morning. Ron Bess, who did his usual stellar job MC'ing the weekend. Elizabeth Darchi, who handled our website, making it easy to read and navigate. Athina Dalamaras, Jean Sirabella, Lana May, Tony & Shawn Nguyen, Madeline Lane and Connie Yesh for their contributions to the Dance Scholarship Fund. The cast of dancers from the "10 years of Joy" dinner show, Carolina Almont, Stephanie Risser, Patty McConnell, Elizabeth Darchi, Angela McCabe, Joey Communtucci, Joe Kerner, Sheryl Freas, Steve Neeren, Billy Marti and Jose Gonzales . Brian Fortuna and Sandra Fortuna for their beautiful Waltz Exhibition. Ralph Johnson our videographer. Arte Phillips for choreographing a great dinner show that will be remembered forever.

And last, but definitely not least, we would like to thank all of our attendees. We know there are many events to choose from and we truly appreciate you spending your weekend with us.

REMEMBER...Without "YOU" there would be no Disco America.
